POETIC BIOGRAPHY - Maria Goretti Coelho
I am a person of stories, incomplete, passionate, with a fertile imagination.
I specialize in the art of dream keeping, inventing better realities, with the deep belief that they will become real. In those where I cannot intervene, I channel the strength of my goodwill and reserve a space for them in my book of stories so that they may one day inspire the elevated spirit of the dreamer.
I look for sensations in my body that expand my awareness of myself. I carefully observe the reality around me, my face and the faces of others, to better capture the distances that make us up. It's a never-ending job. It is a deep dive, with many returning to the surface to contemplate the beauty of its reflections.
I know deep sadness and vibrant joy, inhabiting the shadow and the light again and again. I was once afraid of dying, of ending suddenly, because I was tiny then, with eyes full of the world. At the time, I didn't yet know that death is the beginning of a new life.
Curious and insecure, I pursue the Grail, leaving behind what is not yet, releasing illusions as if they were free birds. I spend most of my days barefoot, attentive to the essence of things and the messages from the heart of the Earth.
I chose music as a source of inspiration, and I dance. I always dance as a way of life, a way of being, a way of praying, and a way of giving thanks for the fullness of love.
