Breathe Yourself

This initiative is the result of a partnership between the Dançar com o Coração® method – Creative Process of Psychocorporeal Integration –  and Patrícia Churro’s Forest Therapy Guide, certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

Breathe Yourself is a stress management-focused, physical and emotional well-being program that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic and extended to other stressful situations. With an integrated approach, the program is carefully designed to meet the needs of each group and lasts a minimum duration of three months.

 

We provide Experiences through a psycho-corporal approach, whose dynamics positively impact the self-regulation process in stressful situations. The work developed in these experiences allows for the recovery of the body's energy flow and, consequently, clarity of focus and fluidity of thought, essential cognitive aspects for decision-making today. We live in times of profound transformation, in which reality changes at a speed never imagined. This speed of life is so often the enemy of self-reflection.

In stressful situations, one of two things can happen: the creation of an escalation of fear and aggression or the generation of hope, sharing, and collaboration.

The key to building this hope lies in three fundamental elements:

  • Connection to our physical and emotional body

  • Development of empathy in the relationship with others

  • Reconnection to nature

Manage stress, increase the ability to focus and make decisions, and promote physical and emotional well-being.

  • Learn to do a psychosomatic reading of physical symptoms

How can this program improve our quality of life?

 

Knowing how to breathe on its own revitalizes all bodily functions and increases the time we process and internally experience life's events. In other words, it increases the time to decide about events, moving away from survival mode and entering the zone of intelligent, conscious deliberation.

At the same time, expanding bodily and emotional intelligence allows people to express themselves more authentically and creatively, with increased awareness of themselves and their surroundings. This body-mind integration reduces energy depletion, increases the body's vibrational capacity, and builds a feeling of fluidity in everyday life.
