If you don´t go out in the forest, nothing will ever happen

This piece is born from the work we developed with our students over a year, revisiting the stage of development that goes from birth to the first year and a half of life.

The forest is the marvellous path of self-knowledge, traversing our inner world as we interact with the outside world's demands.

From breath to breath, the rhythm is born. It develops within us, complexifying creatively and joining other rhythms, building a story about feeling, facing the challenges of growth and the unique task before us: standing up and relating to the other.

In this forest, many obstacles and fears often prevent us from moving forward with joy and pleasure and vibrating at our maximum potential.

Throughout this process, students danced their rebirth, with all the associated emotions, several times. With each dance, they repaired their wounds little by little, and each time they delighted in the potential that remained intact. Each one of these moments signified an opportunity for regeneration. This piece constitutes a new opportunity for rebirth, acting as a structured improvisation.

Note: "If you don't go out in the woods, nothing will ever happen, and your life will never begin!" is a phrase taken from the book Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés.
