"Genesis of Myself" is born from a year-long creative, investigative process based on the challenging period between the first year and a half and three years of life.

At this stage of development, identity construction begins, and the potential for versatile and powerful corporeality, or bodily existence, emerges.

Our ancient defences, mixed with spontaneous wisdom, are the framework we construct our identity. Returning to this, repeatedly and consciously, allows us to be aware of signals in the body that look for outlets through new movements. And with these movements come new meanings, transcending history and bringing us closer to genesis.

In Genesis of Myself, we locate one moment in the personal history of each interpreter, reliving old emotions. The scene consists of five stories. Underlying each is self-unfolding, in which each interpreter represents a part of the person whose conflict enacts. Each one draws, through dance, that precise moment of life in space, dancing it intensely at each nerve point until something new transpires.

The alternation of familiar musical selections with improvised music symbolizes integrating each person's history with life's creative process. This process allows for transformation without losing personal references.
