Who We Are
After several years of research in dance, many years of experience in psychotherapy, and multiple shared transformative experiences via our long-term friendship and natural kinship, we decided to join our resources and create a method that would merge contemporary dance with bioenergetic analysis-based psychotherapy.
We are two roots of a tree whose trunk is the process of people who seek to rebuild their personal and artistic trajectory and whose leafy crown is composed of the achievements of each one, the visibility they deserve, the creation, the new paths, the pleasure, and the self -knowledge.
Ana Beatriz Degues
Graduated in Dance from the Human Motricity Faculty, Technical University of Lisbon. Dancer of Contemporary Life. Teacher.

Training in "The Body That Thinks - The integration of body, mind and thought" (Pia Kraemer's Advanced Seminars of Psychopedagogical Interrelation).
Training in facilitators in the "La Voz que Sana" method, levels I and II, by Myrna Renaud, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Visual Art Commercial Short Course - Develop Expertise in Contemporary Dance Technique - Tasmania, Australia.
Got formative experiences in various methods and techniques of dance and body approach, such as Bioenergetics, Danza Duende, Contact and Improvisation, Butoh, Flying-Low, Cunningham and Dunham practices.
Yoga instructor certified by the Portuguese Yoga Center.
Worked and collaborated with Myrna Renaud in sessions of research, improvisation, technique and thinking about the body. With her, she has developed the vocabulary in the Afro-Caribbean movement and the work of musculoskeletal consciousness "Cuestion 7".
Member and collaborator in the company of projects En Situ Danza, between 2011 and 2014, with performances in Portugal and Puerto Rico.
Participated in several Contemporary Dance festivals (Portugal, Puerto Rico and Australia), where she developed Site-Specific workshops and performances.
Co-creator, together with Patrícia Vieira, of the Truz Truz project - performances and dance workshops for children.
Co-creator, together with Maria Goretti Coelho, of the Dançar com o Coração (Dancing with the Heart) method, which integrates the psychotherapeutic model of Bioenergetic Analysis and various techniques and methods used in Contemporary Dance.
Maria Goretti Coelho
Specialist in the Psychotherapeutic Model of Bioenergetic Analysis by Alexander Lowen, certified by the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis.
Graduated in Clinical Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto.
Individual and group psychotherapist.
The integration of different models distinguishes her approach:
CBT, Clinical Bioenergetic Therapist, certified by IIBA, International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis.
Formative experience in various body approaches models such as Biodanza, Danza Duende and dance techniques that integrate the principles of Body-Mind-Centering and improvisation and creative exploration of movement.
Training in "O Corpo que Pensa" ("The Body that Thinks") - The Integration of Body, Mind, and Thought (Pia Kraemer's Advanced Seminars of Psychopedagogical Interrelation).
Training of facilitators in the "La Voz Que Sana" method, levels 1 and 2, by Myrna Renaud, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Worked and collaborated with Myrna Renaud from 2006 to 2016, exploring the universe of Afro-Caribbean movement, the work of musculoskeletal consciousness (Cuestion 7), improvisation and creative exploration of the movement and the LVQS method. Participated in several intensive LVQS laboratories, especially the intensive laboratory, levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, Puerto Rico 2014, culminating in the UMBRAL performance.
Co-creator, with Ana Beatriz Degues, of the Dançar com o Coração® (Dancing with the Heart™) method that integrates the psychotherapeutic model of Bioenergetic Analysis with Contemporary Dance.
Created the Project entitled "Integração dos Opostos – O Caminho da Harmonia" ("Integration of Opposites - The Path of Harmony"), which combines the psychotherapeutic model of Bioenergetic Analysis with other methods of body approach mentioned above.
Led in several Iberian and international congresses with workshop presentations in Bioenergetic Analysis
